Refund Policy
A legal disclaimer
The maximum allowable fee per notarization in Missouri is $5. Missouri allows Notaries Public to charge additional fees for their services as long as the terms are agreed upon prior to the signing appointment. These fees are not required by law.
Refund Policy
A full refund will only be granted if appointments are cancelled by the signer at least 24 hours before the appointed date and time of the signing or if I find it necessary to cancel the appointment within any time frame.
A refund of the notarization fee(s) will be granted if the appointment commences, but I am unable to carry out notarizations. Situations or events that may impact my ability to complete notarial certificate(s) include:

-
The signer appears to be unaware or to not understand what they are signing
-
Signs or a clear statement by the signer that they are being coerced
-
Lack of preparation for the appointment; not having a valid ID or other necessary stipulations
-
Fraudulent ID

If the appointment commences but I am unable to complete the notarizations due to issues such as those listed above, you will not receive a refund for the service and travel fees. You will only receive a refund for the uncompleted notarization(s).
If I must return for a second appointment due to a lack of preparation on the part of the signer, a return visit fee will be incurred.
